This package includes the commissioning of your autoclave on site by a technician. As well as the initial validation of the appliance.
Practices and clinics are obliged to have their autoclaves validated for the purpose of instrument reprocessing. The basis for the obligation of validation for instrument reprocessing is § 8 of the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV): Validation is performed on site every 24 months in accordance with the national standard DIN SPEC 58929.

Please note that the autoclave must be revalidated every 2 years.
Tip: Conclude a validation contract with us. We will ensure that your autoclave is always revalidated and remains ready for use. When you conclude a validation contract, you also receive a price advantage of 40 EUR per revalidation due to better planning for on-site validation.
How is the validation deployment planned?
Immediately after ordering a maintenance package, a CertoClav representative will contact you via email to clarify all details with you. Of course, you also have the possibility to contact us in advance at any time by phone or via the contact form. Together with you we will discuss and plan the validation order.
Information on commissioning on site:
To ensure that our service team can carry out the commissioning of your autoclave on site without any problems, please ensure that the following requirements are met:
- Fixed water connection with AQUAdem 40 water treatment system:
- Maximum distance of 3 meters to the water source and drain
- Existing threads on site:
- Ball outlet valve ¾'' external thread or
- Wash basin fitting (strainer connection) with M24x1 internal thread
- Fixed water connection with demineralized water pipe:
- If the autoclave is to be connected directly to a demineralized water line, a 6 mm (outer diameter) polyurethane PUR hose (food-safe and hydrolysis-resistant) must be available so that the installation can take place.
