The AQUAdem water treatment system is a stand-alone water treatment solution developed for the medical sector. It converts tap water into demineralized water. With the AQUAdem water treatment system, you have a solution for the production of demineralized water for all devices. The demineralized water from the AQUAdem water treatment system is not only ideal for autoclaves, but also for use in ultrasonic cleaners or for manual cleaning processes.
With a three-stage resin filter system, the AQUAdem water treatment system offers outstanding filter performance. The three resin cartridges, each with a volume of 1 liter, enable continuous conversion of tap water into demineralized water. The system produces 12 to 15 liters of demineralized water per hour and is therefore very time-efficient.
A frequently asked question concerns the replacement of resin cartridges. Consumption can vary depending on the location. For tap water with a total salt content of 10°, the AQUAdem water treatment system produces around 500 litres of demineralised water before a filter change is required. For the Steri24 Class B Pro 23L autoclave, which requires a maximum of 400 ml of treated water per cycle, the 3 resin cartridges supplied are sufficient for 1250 sterilisation cycles.
In terms of cost savings, the use of the AQUAdem water treatment system offers considerable advantages compared to the purchase of pre-filled demineralised water.
