If no distilled or demineralised water is available at the autoclave's installation site, it can also be produced from tap water using a water distiller. Another advantage is the cost saving compared to the purchase of pre-filled demineralised water. The handy and compact water distiller is suitable for producing 1.5 litres of distilled water per hour. 1.5 litres of distilled water is sufficient for approx. 3 sterilisation cycles with the Steri24 autoclaves. This device converts tap water into demineralised water of sufficient quality for use in autoclaves.
