Which payment methods does Steri24 offer?
We offer prepayment (bank transfer), PayPal, Klarna, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), installment payment and leasing, and depending on the country also purchase on invoice. You can see all payment methods available to you in the shopping cart under the Payment tab.
Can I pay by invoice or bank transfer?
By default, payment is made via prepayment by bank transfer. Payment on invoice with a payment term is possible depending on the country and customer status; to do so, select the corresponding option in the shop or ask us.
Is installment payment or financing possible, and how do I select it?
Yes, installment payment is possible via PayPal or Klarna. To do so, choose PayPal or Klarna as the payment method in the online shop; the respective installment options are then displayed to you directly. We do not offer our own financing directly through Steri24.
Is leasing possible for an autoclave, and how do I get an offer?
Leasing is generally possible. Send us a shop order with the payment method Leasing request; we forward it to our leasing partners, who will prepare an individually calculated offer for you. You can calculate your expected monthly rate in advance using the leasing calculator.
Can I order net without VAT using a VAT ID or tax number?
Yes, with a valid VAT identification number or tax number you can order at the net price. Enter the number in the designated VAT ID field during the ordering process; we are also happy to add it for you afterwards.
Why is Klarna not displayed to me at checkout?
Klarna is available exclusively for private customers. Leave the Company name and VAT number fields empty in your steri24 user account and ideally order as a private customer, otherwise Klarna will be hidden.
Is installment payment possible from Switzerland?
From Switzerland, installment payment is usually possible via Klarna; PayPal installment payment is not offered for Swiss accounts. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal as prepayment is also possible.
Is installment payment possible from Austria?
From Austria, installment payment usually works via Klarna; PayPal installment payment is not possible here. Alternatively, you can pay by bank transfer as prepayment or ask us about further options.
Is there a cash discount?
No, unfortunately we do not grant a cash discount.
Are there any interest charges or fees for installment payment?
With installment payment via PayPal or Klarna, interest or fees from the payment service providers may apply depending on the term. The exact conditions are shown to you directly by the respective provider before purchase.
What is the maximum number of installments I can choose?
The possible number of installments depends on the chosen payment service provider and your creditworthiness and is shown to you at checkout. If more installments or higher amounts are needed, we can refer you to our leasing partner.
How can I pay a high amount in installments if the provider does not allow the sum?
If the sum exceeds the installment provider's limit, we can split the invoice into several partial invoices via prepayment or offer you leasing through our leasing partner. Simply get in touch with us.
Are validation and maintenance included in the leasing?
With leasing, maintenance and revalidation can be included on request. Leasing requests are usually processed promptly and forwarded to the leasing partner; you can calculate the conditions in advance with our leasing calculator.
Is leasing worthwhile, or is installment payment the cheaper alternative?
Classic leasing through external providers is possible but often comparatively more expensive. We therefore often recommend installment payment, which is usually cheaper; we will nevertheless send you a leasing offer on request.
Can public institutions, clinics or existing customers order on invoice?
For security reasons, prepayment is initially provided online. Order with prepayment; after checking your customer data, we can enable payment on invoice in the order confirmation. For existing customers, invoice is usually possible directly.
Why does installment payment not work with my business account?
Installment payment via PayPal and Klarna is only possible with private, i.e. non-business, accounts. With Klarna, therefore leave the Company name and VAT number fields empty.
What can I do if the credit card payment in the shop does not work?
First order online with prepayment; we will then send you a secure payment link with further payment options. You do not need your own account with a payment service provider for this.
Can I pay in cash?
Cash payment is possible by arrangement. Please contact us directly about this.
How can I change the payment method for an order I have already placed?
You choose the payment method at checkout. If you want to switch afterwards, we are happy to send you a payment link by e-mail. We can also cancel orders that have not yet been paid if required.
What are the bank details for the transfer with prepayment?
The bank details are: Allgemeine Sparkasse OOE Bank AG, BIC/SWIFT ASPKAT2L, IBAN AT98 2032 0003 0000 3514. Please only transfer after receiving the order confirmation and state your order or customer number as the reference.
Who is the payee, and can I transfer from a different account?
The payee is CertoClav Sterilizer GmbH. Payment from a different account is no problem; be sure to state your order number as the reference. After receipt of payment, we prepare the order for dispatch.
Which payment method leads to the fastest dispatch?
With credit card, Klarna and PayPal, we can dispatch immediately after successful payment. With prepayment by bank transfer, we dispatch as soon as the incoming payment has been credited with us.
Do I pay for validation and maintenance in advance or after the service?
These services are invoiced on account after the work has been performed. So you pay nothing in advance; the invoice comes after the validation or maintenance has been carried out.
Can I order as an EU company net without VAT?
A net order without VAT is possible as part of intra-community supply with a valid VAT ID. As Steri24 is based in Austria, VAT is charged to Austrian customers.
Are the prices net for Swiss customers, and how is VAT calculated?
For delivery to Switzerland, we do not charge German or Austrian tax. Instead, Swiss customs levies Swiss VAT on import; in addition, there is usually a processing fee from the shipping service provider.
Can I pay for validation and maintenance monthly in installments?
Our maintenance is generally invoiced per interval. Payment in installments is possible by ordering the service and paying it in monthly installments via an installment provider such as PayPal. You can see the exact conditions at checkout.
Can I order on invoice if I am a private customer?
Yes, purchase on invoice is usually possible via Klarna and is already enabled for private customers. To do so, leave the Company name and VAT number fields empty.
How can I request an invoice again?
Send us your practice or company name or your customer number to our support, and we will send you the invoice again.
Can you add my tax ID to an invoice that has already been created?
Yes, that is possible. Send us your tax or VAT ID together with the relevant invoice or order number to our support, and we will adjust the invoice.
Do you offer SEPA direct debit or cash on delivery?
We do not offer SEPA direct debit or cash on delivery. Available methods are prepayment, PayPal, Klarna, credit card and, depending on the country, invoice, installment payment and leasing.

We accept common credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Processing takes place securely and encrypted via our payment service provider.
Is paying in the shop secure?
Yes. All transactions are SSL 256-bit encrypted and processed securely via our payment service providers. Sensitive payment data is not transmitted unprotected.
How does instant purchase via PayPal work?
With instant purchase you pay quickly and securely via your PayPal account. The payment is confirmed directly at checkout, so we can process your order immediately.
What exactly does prepayment mean?
After your order, you receive an order confirmation with our bank details. You transfer the total amount in advance; dispatch takes place after receipt of payment. For faster processing, you can send us the transfer receipt by e-mail.
How do I use the leasing calculator?
With the leasing calculator you calculate your expected monthly rate without obligation, quickly and easily online. Based on your entries, you get an initial orientation before you submit a leasing request.
Which payment method is best suited for practices and business customers?
Business customers usually pay by prepayment, credit card or, once enabled, on invoice; leasing is a good option to spread the purchase out for tax purposes. Installment offers via PayPal and Klarna, on the other hand, are reserved for private customers.
Is VAT charged on an order from Germany?
As a private customer, you receive an invoice with VAT shown. With a valid VAT ID or tax number, you can purchase at the net price without VAT.
Why am I being charged the wrong VAT?
Please set your correct delivery country at the top via the country selection icon, or create an account with the matching address. The tax correct for your country will then be calculated.
Can I specify a delivery address that differs from the billing address?
Yes, at checkout you can enter different billing and delivery addresses. Alternatively, simply note the differing delivery address in the order comment.
Can I receive a proforma invoice?
Yes, we will send you a proforma invoice by e-mail on request. Please note this request in the comment field of your order or ask our support.
Are taxes and customs fees charged on import into a third country?
We deliver to third countries tax-free. In the destination country, the local VAT plus processing fees is charged on import through customs and is invoiced separately.
Can I trade in an old device?
Please contact us directly about trading in an existing device. An equivalent new device with full warranty is often more attractive with us than the residual value of a used device.
What can I do if the online payment fails?
A failure can also have technical causes on our side. Try again or alternatively order by prepayment; we will then send you a payment link for a different payment method.
Is there a discount code and how do I redeem it?
Enter current promotional codes in the voucher field in the shopping cart, ideally with your customer account logged in. Many devices are also already discounted. Feel free to ask our advisory team about current promotions.
How quickly is my incoming payment credited with prepayment?
A bank transfer usually takes a few banking days. As soon as the amount has reached us, we prepare your order for dispatch. With credit card, PayPal or Klarna it is faster.
Do I need an account for PayPal or Klarna?
For PayPal you need a PayPal account. Klarna can usually be used directly at checkout. Both options appear if they are available for your country and customer status.
Can I determine the payment method together with you after the consultation?
Gladly. If you are unsure which payment or financing option is most sensible for you, we will advise you and agree on the right option with you. To do so, use our advisory service or the autoclave configurator.
Does Steri24 offer secure and established payment methods despite fair prices?
Yes. Unlike some providers in this price range, with us you can pay via proven, audited payment service providers, and all transactions are encrypted. This way you combine fair prices with high payment security.
Which payment options suit price-sensitive sectors such as foot care or studios?
For smaller budgets, installment payment via Klarna or PayPal is particularly suitable, so you can spread the purchase over convenient monthly installments. As a private customer, leave the Company name and VAT number fields empty for this.
Can I pay for accessories such as a sealing device or consumables in the same order?
